The Rouge Allure Glosses are actually phenomenal. The formula is a thick but smooth. There is a minor these glosses have lastly arrived in many countries in ten different colors ($34 each one for 6 ml/0.20 fl oz.). The freshly released lip-glosses are a color and shine lip product packed in a long clickable tube alike to the Rouge Allure Lipsticks. I’ve been a huge admirer of Chanel glosses in general and the new Rouge Allure Gloss does not dissatisfy. (These are substituting the Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss formulas). Five different shades of these glosses are as follow:
Sensual 11 is a faultless medium beige nude
Affriolant 13 is a warm pink
Sensible 15 is a milder warm baby pink
Seduction 18 is a spectacular soft red
Distinction 21 is a stunning deep plum
tacky feeling when you put on which makes them adhere to the lips fine but at the same time, they aren’t sticky. The new Rouge Allure Glosses emanate with a sponge tip applicator which is nearly identical the older Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss formula. The alteration is that the new ones have somewhat better pigment. The Rouge Allure Gloss has an actually nice feel on the lips – it services smooth them, plump them and insert just the right amount of shine as well as color. They also stay put well (as in they don’t bleed about the edges of the lip and don’t vanish after 10 minutes).
The colors which customers tested are easy to apply and blend. A couple jabs are all you need for medium coverage but they are certainly layer able for more color. The sponge tip smears to the lips perfectly – no lip brush or else finger blending needed. The tip has a minor point at the tip so you can get exact application around the edges whereas the wider base allows you to glide across larger areas of your lip. A faster look at the packaging shows that Chanel once again was capable of revamping one of their classic products with an efficient modern look while still holding the classic Chanel feel.
Close up and swatches:
Swatched on the lips, most of these are with two swipes. You can certainly add one more swipe to layer each shade for more attention and color. It’s pure love for these. In my attention, these glosses have the whole thing I want in a lip gloss: smooth coverage, medium shine, soothing hydrating feel, layer-able color with the good pigment. They just feel unbelievable on the lips. I give these a massive thumbs up. I’m unhappy to see the older Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss formula go, however, the new Rouge Allure Glosses are actually amazing. There’s a minor hint of shimmer in each color I have but it doesn’t actually show up on the lips. I love that the colors are standards with a modern feel and that they also have complexity. For me, these fall into the “need” and I consider you really need to try at least one. They are a comfortable splurge but worth each penny.
